Kandyan dance encompasses various dance forms popular and natire to the area called kandyan of the central hills region knows as Udarata in sri lanaka.                               Which have today spread to other parts of the country.It show the sinhala culture in sri lanka.even though originally only  males were allowed train as dancers, there are now several schools which also train women in the kandyan  dance form.however ,there is no definite ves coustume for women,and many remale dancers have adapted the male coutume in different ways.

                                                                 this temple is located on a small hill near the town of Aluthgama on the colombo,Matara rode.built in the distant past,this temple has a beautiful finish.history states that this temple was improved by king Keerthi sri Rajasinghe. it is believed that the relics of arahant seevali may have resided in this temple.at present about 10 generations of monks have been working in this temple.this place receives a large number of alms daily.it is also believed that lord vishnu lives in this temple.also the bo tree here is very old.A large number this temple on almost every poya day.           we must protect the resources we have.these resources that our ancestors gave us are our national heritage.

                          Watalappam is a delicacy.I have loved since I was a child because it is a sweet delicacy.most of the time I make watalappam once a month.Watalappam is a must for dessert if a guest comes to the house for lunch.                          When making Watalappam,first put the jagger is finely chapped and kept in a jar.now take coconut milk and dissolve it well using the jaggery kept eartier.then take a bowl and put eggs to it and mix well.and add the jaggery and coconut milk mixture.add sugar to it,add enough salt and cashews on top,place in a clean bowl,cover well and allow to steam. In like that we can make testy Watalappam.wwhen food is served.then there is a desire to eat the food. You can also make delicious Watalappam .  

                    The sinharaja forest is the only undisturbed rainforest left in sri lanaka.it is said to be about 9000 hectares in size. many rare plants can be found in this forest.in 1988,the sinharaja forest was declared a world heritage site  The distance ftom east to west of the reserve is about 81km.in this way Batterflies,birds,and trees can be seen in this forest.  About 20 endemic species of sri lanaka have been identified in the sinharaja forest.also ,the fern plants endemic to sri lanka can be seem here.sinharaja is aalso home to a nnumber of endangered species         Sinharaja is a valuable resource that we have.at present,the forest has been activities.it is our responsiblity to prevent it.                                                        ...
